Kid-Friendly Activites

And here you will find some activites to keep the young-ens entertained. They will be pretty simple, cause that's how I like it!

It is the beginning of June, and after a long, cold, bland, never-ending, slightly-depressing winter it is time for some Summer FUN!
Yesterday I decided that my children needed something to do outside, something that would make them unknowingly discover and appreciate nature. So I created a little Scavenger Hunt-
The List could be anything you want, I don't recommend using the 4-leaf clover ha ha with a 3 year old and an 18 month old they did NOT have the patience to look through all the clovers, I did find one after at least 10 minutes of strenuous searching..and then realized that one of leaves had actually just split into two.
IT STILL COUNTS!

This is also a good time to re-use the Easter baskets you've been stashing!

Picking his perfect dandelion and for a child with a limited attention span, I honestly did not think he would be as involved as he was!

There's that lucky little clover!

And of course the best part is the Treasure! I'm not a big 'treats' person so this was kind of a big deal. My Treasure was a juice box for each of them, a pack of skittles to share, and 2 ice cream cutouts..for a future ice cream treat ;)

Well that pretty much sums up my first blog post, they will get better I promise! I hope I filled you with some summer love, now get outside and enjoy the heat before that snow starts flying again!!
